Telv Opened Up About His Traumatic Childhood On 'MAFS' Last Night Channel Nine

Last night's episode of Married At First Sight was a rollercoaster of emotions for most couples, including Telv and Sarah.

After taking their relationship to the next level, Telv decided to open up about his traumatic childhood whilst visiting a homeless shelter.

Keep Melbourne Warm is a charity looking to help homeless people in the city by providing clothing, food, toiletries and other goods to those living on the streets.

The couple visited the Keep Melbourne Warm base on last night's episode of MAFS and while they were there, Telv opened up about losing his home as a child after a series of domestic violence incidents.

"I've actually been in a situation where I've actually had to, sort of, ask for help.

"I grew up around a lot of domestic violence as a kid.

"Early on, my mum had some boyfriends that were pretty rotten...

"We've literally had no home to go to."

He spoke to the camera about the situation and said that he's glad that he was able to help those in need, before getting emotional.

"Coming here today to help... it means the world to me."

Sarah supported Telv and said that she was "proud" of him for opening up and helping those who are going through what he's gone through.
