What Amazon devices are the Hit Network streams available on?

Amazon Echo, Amazon Echo Dot, Amazon Echo Spot, Amazon Echo Show, Sonos One (with voice enabled Alexa) & Bose Home 500.

How do I enable or add news feeds from the Hit Network to my Flash Briefing?

  1. First, you’ll need to go to alexa.amazon.com.au in your web browser or open up the Amazon Alexa app on Android or iOS.
  2. Head to Settings > Flash Briefing.
  3. This is where you add and edit sources in your flash briefing. To add a new source, press Add Content.
  4. Within the Flash Briefing’s portal, search for a news channel you’d like to enable. E.g. 2DayFM Sydney News
  5. On the news channel page, click Enable Skill to add this to your Flash Briefings. 
  6. To edit or reorder your Flash Briefing sources, repeat Step 2.

How do I listen to a live radio stream of my favourite station from the Hit Network?

Simply ask Alexa, "Alexa, Play [your favourite station]". You can use the ‘How to Listen’ form above to check which name will work on Alexa for your station. Alternatively, if your location is set within Alexa settings, simply ask Alexa, “Alexa, play the Hit Network”.

I want to listen to the latest catch up episode from my favourite show. How do I do this?

Alexa is now ready to play catch up from key shows from across the Hit Network, listed below. 

Hughesy & Ed, Carrie & Tommy, Fifi, Fev & Byron, Stav, Abby & Matt, Xavier, Juelz & Pete, Bec & Cosi, Ash London LIVE, The Danny Lakey Late Show, Those Two Girls, Weekend Breakfast. 

Simply say "Alexa, open [Show Name]" or use the form above to check what to ask.

Alexa doesn’t understand me when I ask for my favourite show. What do I do?

If Alexa doesn’t understand you when you ask to open a show, then you can enable the show in your Alexa app.

To listen to a show, you first need to enable the skill for that show. 

  1. Login to your Alexa app or alexa.amazon.com.au
  2. Go to Skills & Games in the Alexa menu. 
  3. Using the search function, search for the show you’d like to listen to. E.g. Hughesy and Ed.
  4. On the show skill page, click Enable Skill to add this skill to your device. 
  5. Using the query form above, check out what to ask Alexa to start playing.
