Russell Coight Is Officially Returning To TV For Some More All Aussie Adventures! Channel Ten

Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures will officially be returning to TV this year after Network Ten confirmed that they're finally giving the fans what they want.

The parody show aired for two seasons in 2001 and 2002 with the wannabe outdoorsman getting into all sorts of scrapes around the Australian outback.

In 2016, fans of the show started a petition on change.org to bring the show back and it gained 13,000 signatures with the creators saying:

"The current generation are unaware of the dangers of salt-water crocodiles in dark alleys, or the fact that they can grow up to 20 feet (although most of them only grow 4). These important outback facts are vital to the upbringing of a generation who so desperately need someone to stand up and show them the right way to live.”

Now, it looks like Network Ten has finally decided to bring Russell back!

The man himself spoke with Ten Daily saying that the new season will be a bit different to what he was doing back in the early '00s.

"I’m very excited to be back. This new series will have a strong focus on camp cooking (we were thinking of calling it MasterCoight) with a different marsupial mystery box each week.”

The premiere date for the show has not yet been announced, however, it will consist of eight new episodes.
