On Sunday night, we were introduced to the group of celebrities who had decided to enter the South African jungle and eat bugs for our entertainment.
One of those celebrities was Peter Rowsthorn, who became a household name as Brett on the iconic TV show Kath and Kim.
Now, we haven't seen Peter on TV for quite some time and he revealed to Woman's Day that his decision to join the cast of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, was swayed by some financial issues.
He told the publication that a "whack" tax bill urged him to join the show, saying that it's something he wouldn't normally do.
"You know, we live in a beautiful country and I got behind on my payments.
"I got sick of staring at the ceiling going, 'How am I going to pay it?'
"I said to my wife (Gabrielle), 'If you can think of a better way, let me know, but I can't'."
Peter explained that the family has been living on a single income as his wife is taking care of her mother "round-the-clock".
He said he's not concerned about winning the show, however, it would be a nice bonus.
"If you get kicked off after two weeks it doesn't really matter, but if you win it, you've raised some money for charity, you've had an experience, and I've paid my tax bill off."
Peter's a funny guy, so we think Australia will want to keep him around for a while yet.
