Original Bachelor star Tim Robards competed on Australian Ninja Warrior for the second time, but it wasn't the perfect run he'd hoped for.
Tim appeared on the show's first season, but failed to make it past the heats.
With new wife Anna by his side, Tim was ready to give the intense obstacle course another shot. He put in an incredibly strong performance, and made it all the way to the second last obstacle before dropping into the water.
Tim appeared to have hurt his leg after a tough landing on the Bridge of Blades, and was seen rubbing his leg at various points. Ben Fordham and Rebecca Maddern speculated that he'd hurt his hamstring, which ended up being correct.
Afterwards Tim explained to host Freddie Flintoff, "I tore it (hamstring) about six weeks ago and I've been training my butt off to rehab it, but on the Bridge Of Blades it went twang. There's a little bruise coming up."
However, Tim's performance landed him in the top 20 which was enough to see him through to the second round of the competition.
In other Ninja Warrior news, last year's top performing female competitor Andrea Hah also hit the course in last night's episode. She was the only woman to make it up the wall in 2017. Andrea doubled down on her success by making it up the wall again, securing a spot in the next round.
