Netflix has made the announcement that they will be making a new crime series, that will focus on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
The series will be an eight-part documentary, concentrating on her disappearance from her hotel room in 2007.
Madeleine had been on holiday with her parents in Portugal, along with her two siblings, when the incident happened.
The mystery of her disappearance is still debated to this day, and Netflix has decided to commission the series.
The documentary is yet to be titled, but will feature interviews with key figures and investigators.
However, Madeleine’s parents have refused to be involved with the documentary, due to the fact the Metropolitan Police’s investigation is still active.
