Just when you thought there couldn't be any more reality TV dating shows on Aussie screens, this news arrives.
Julia Morris, best known for her presenting I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! with Dr Chris Brown, will reportedly become the host of a new version of the classic '80s dating show, Perfect Match.
The new series will be called Blind Date and will work in the same classic dating show format that has been tried and true for decades.
An eligible bachelor or bachelorette will ask three strangers a series of questions before deciding on who they would like to take on a date.
The original version of the show featured a great robot named Dexter, who always seemed to have an opinion about the singles on the show.
There's no word on whether or not Dexter will return.
Of the new show, Network Ten Chief Content Officer, Beverley McGarvey said in a statement that "In this modern format refresh, Blind Date is fast, funny, and – most importantly – family entertainment that we know will find its way into the hearts of Australian homes."
Here's hoping that the show will have a better success rate than the last two seasons of Married At First Sight!
