On The Bachelorette, no one seems to be more in love with Sophie than Jarrod.
He was the first guy to nab a single date and since then, has been doing everything he can to remain on her radar.
Because of this, fans and even some of the boys on the show, have labelled him a "stage-five clinger"... but that's not all.
Whilst speaking to The Daily Telegraph's Confidential, Jarrod explained that he's had to hand over his Instagram to his sister because now, fans of The Bachelorette are abusing him on the social media site.
He's asked that the "haters" private message him on the platform rather than flood his feed with expletives and hurtful comments so that his nieces and nephews, who also use the platform, don't see anything.
“That’s the only thing I want to ask.
"If you do have an issue, private message me, I don't care.
"You can say whatever you want to me in a private message but do not put it up on Instagram.”
Jarrod has had to defend his actions quite a bit since The Bachelorette started because the show's editing has presented him as the "clinger" Australia believes him to be.
"I’m getting messages from my mates after people have been saying I’m a stage five clinger, and they’re saying ‘that’s definitely not the Jarrod we know, he’s a menace, he’s never a stage five clinger, he’s always been the one having the problems committing to a relationship’.
"This is my first opportunity where I’ve found myself ready (to settle down) and it just happens to be on national TV, but this is what it took for me to become a better person and finally know how to let people in."
Maybe it's about time we give poor ol' Jarrod a break...
