Excuse me Microsoft, but how dare you? After 32 years, the tech giant has announced the next Windows instalment will NOT include MS Paint.
Since 1989, MS Paint has appeared on every version of Windows OS and become a staple program used in the computer experience for all kids growing up in the early digital age. It even moved with the times, no longer just used to scribble in different colours, but eventually becoming a great platform for amazing meme making.
Now, the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update has listed MS Paint as a “deprecated feature” and will “not be in active development and might be removed in future releases.”
It's not completely gone however, the features of Paint will be available through the Windows Store with "functionality integrated into Paint 3D".
We think this poem pretty much says it all -
Joining MS Paint on the endangered list is Outlook Express, the Reader app and Reading lost.
