Following last night's Bachelorette grand finale, Stu Laundy and Sophie Monk can finally speak openly about their newfound love with each other.
Throughout the season, Stu made it clear that his number one priority in life was his daughters' happiness. Meaning, that if he was to win Sophie's heart, it would be of the utmost importance, that his new girlfriend has his daughters' blessings.
Well, we're thrilled to share, that following his massive win last night, it doesn't seem like that's going to be a problem!
Speaking with Hit105's Stav, Abby and Matt this morning, the 44-year-old Publican recalled what it was like being a father on The Bachelorette.
"What I found the toughest, was that my children would be watching... and it took me a long time to open up as you guys might have noticed.
"I always had those angels on my shoulders, sort of thing - it was just a little bit tough," he admitted.
Stu then went onto reveal that his daughters are just as in love with Soph as he is (and the rest of Australia for that matter!)
"The kids would've found out [winning The Bachelorette] last night with the nation, but they knew about the whole process, obviously.
"They're big fans of Soph, like everybody, I'm thinking they're pretty happy!"
Congratulations to the new couple!
