Stan Lee, the legendary man behind Marvel, has released a video message to fans explaining why he has been a little absent lately.
The 95-year-old explained in a video released by TMZ that he is currently recovering after a bout of pneumonia.
“I have a little bout of pneumonia I’ve been fighting. But it seems to be getting better.”
Always thinking of the fans, Lee’s intention for the video wasn’t to just give us an update on his health, but to let us know he misses everyone!
“I want you all to know I’m thinking of you, of course I always think of the fans, and I hope you’re all doing well, and I miss you all. I miss your enthusiasm, I miss all your notes, all your photos and emails. I want you to know that I still love you all.
“Maybe I’ll have some of this pneumonia knocked down, and we can have some real fun over the internet. Until then, excelsior.” (Article continues below)
Just last night, reports claimed that the Marvel creator had called police after noticing $1.4 million missing from his bank account.
All this news comes less than a month after Lee was rushed to hospital for an irregular heartbeat.
Thankfully, he seems to be on the mend!
