Neighbours’ star Mavournee Hazel has been a fan fave on the show since she debuted.
Now, in an interview with BW, she has spoken out about her sexuality and how her co-star Rebekah Elmalogou has helped her a lot over the years, giving her advice on her struggle with sexuality.
The 21-year-old revealed, “We’ve talked about everything. She’s helped me a lot with my sexuality."
Mavournee spoke about how her single status made her feel somewhat broke.
"I'm not an overly sexual person at all, like relationships have never been a priority for me and I keep thinking 'Am I broken? I don't get it. I'm 21 and I have no interest in anyone?!’"
She then went on to say that while she is not coming out as gay, she doesn’t fall for a particular gender.
"I don't want to label this as my coming out because it's definitely not that. I don't identify as gay. I just think I'm a people person. I just fall in love with a person for who they are as a person rather than what they are born with."
