Jenna Dewan Tatum and Channing Tatum are two peas in a pod whom we all love!
Not only are they #CoupleGoals, but they’re also #ParentingGoals, because they’re parents to their gorgeous 4-year-old daughter Everly.
But in a sad turn of events, no matter how strong and empowering Jenna is, she has just been mum-shamed… and it’s NOT okay.
A few weeks ago, Jenna shared a series of shots that she took while in the UK:
Now, she has shared yet another photo and the internet has started to mum-shame her again for it:
Some VERY nasty comments were left on the photo, including things like:
- “Did Channing approve this post??”
- “Unfollowing. She’s a mother. No need for these posts.”
- “Yes because self pride comes from exposing yourself to strangers…”
Do we live in a world where we must tear apart the actions of another? Unfortunately, this seems to be the case - and we hope we can all make a change.
Does Jenna wearing some lingerie make her any less of the great mum she is?
No. There’s nothing wrong with Jenna feeling fierce in the body she’s been given.
Let’s all try to focus on the ways we can be a better person, instead of tearing others to shreds.
Mum-shaming, fat-shaming… it needs to stop.
Food for thought.
