Australian actor and presenter, Cornelia Frances, has passed away today at the age of 77.
Cornelia was a beloved television actor who is most well known for portraying Morag Bellingham on Home And Away and hosting the Australian version of The Weakest Link.
The star was surrounded by friends and family when she passed away overnight in Sydney.
Cornelia was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2017 before it later spread to her hip.
In January, she spoke to The Sunday Telegraph from her hospital bed and said, "I swear I have had a hex placed on me for the past 12 months.
"I discovered I had bladder cancer. This then spread to my hip bone which fractured, and then I almost died from loss of blood due to an ulcer in my throat. Despite all this, I am still here, as the old song goes.”
At the time, she said she would love to return to Summer Bay and reprise her role as Morag.
Our thoughts are with her family during this time.
