Pink Stopped Her Concert To Share A Heartwarming Hug With A Teenage Fan

Pink proved just how much her fans mean to her when she stopped a show to hug a teenager who had recently lost her mum.

14-year-old Townsville teen Leah attended the Monday night Brisbane show with a sign that read 'My name is Leah – I’m 14 years old. I lost my beautiful Mum last month. I would LOVE a hug … Please!'

Leah’s mum Debbie had planned to attend one of Pink’s Sydney shows with a friend, but Debbie sadly passed away recently. Leah decided to attend in her place, but unfortunately the show was one of the cancelled Sydney gigs. Her family scrambled and managed to secure tickets to a Brisbane show instead.

“P!NK read our sign and straight away said where’s Leah?” Leah told The Courier-Mail. “She came down the stairs and gave me a big, long hug.”

“She told me that I looked pretty. She said “oh don’t cry”. She said that everything was going to be OK. Then she signed my arm and we took a selfie.”

“It meant everything. It was a dream come true.”

Pink has been wowing fans across Australia on her tour, but this proves once again how much her fans really mean to her.
