Grab Yo’ Popcorn: Who Taylor Swift’s Album Throws SHADE At

Taylor Swift’s much awaited album ‘Reputation’ is FINALLY blessing our lives and everyone is throwing their theories around as to WHO T-Swift is shading in each of her songs.

Well, there’s a long list, but devoted and keen-eyed fans have put together a list of the top people Taylor could be shading and we agree!

Behold the theories and the Tweets backing them up!

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian West

Taylor fisrst references how she reclaims narratives with Kanye she would rather be excluded from in ‘End Game’, saying, “And I bury hatchets, but I keep maps of where I put ’em."

In ‘I Did Something Bad’, she makes note to Kanye always referencing her, saying, I never trust a narcissist / But they love me so I play ’em like a violin / And I make it look oh so easy / ’Cause for every lie I tell them, they tell me three / This is how the world works / Now all he thinks about is me.”

She also points to how Kim recorded Taylor’s calls with Kanye.

“I never trust a narcissist / But they love me so I play ’em like a violin / And I make it look oh so easy / ’Cause for every lie I tell them, they tell me three / This is how the world works / Now all he thinks about is me."

She references the calls again in 'This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things’.

“It was so nice being friends again / There I was, giving you a second chance / But then you stabbed my back while shaking my hand / And therein lies the issue / Friends don’t try to trick you/ Get you on the phone and mind-twist you / And so I took an axe to a mended fence.”

Taylor even puts her twist on a line from Kanye's song ‘Runaway' with the lyrics, “Here’s a toast to my real friends / They don’t care about that he-said-she-said / And here’s to my baby / He ain’t reading what they call me lately / And here’s to my momma / Had to listen to all this drama / And here’s to you / ’Cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do / Haha, I can’t even say it with a straight face.”

Katy Perry

Fans think that 'This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things’ is aimed at Katy also.

"Did you think I wouldn't hear all the things you said about me? / This is why we can't have nice things."

Taylor’s sampling of a song from Mean Girls has also been seen as a nod to Katy’s Tweet about Taylor being like Regina George

Calvin Harris

Fans believe the song ‘I Did Something Bad’ is also about Calvin. She touches on her feelings for him and how the breakup was handles.

“I never trust a playboy, but they love me, so I fly ’em all around the world and I let them think they saved me… He says, ‘Don’t throw away a good thing’, but if he drops my name, then I owe him nothin’, and if he spends my change, then he had it comin.”

The line, "I've got a boyfriend / He's older than us / He's in the club doing I don't know what,” in ‘Gorgeous’ is believed to be about Calvin or Tom Hiddleston.
