If you were born in the '90s, lived through the '90s or just have an appreciation for the era that spawned some of humanity's greatest creations like The Spice Girls, you are gonna EAT THIS UP.
Charli XCX and Troye Sivan just released the film clip for their collab '1999' and it has more references to the '90s in it than you can poke a stick at.
From the Backstreet Boys to Sketchers, The Matrix, Blair Witch Project, OMG we just cannot...
Just for fun, we Googled when these kids were born - Troye in 1995 and Charli in 1992, so they were right in the middle of all the fun!
The song is an homage to returning to the good times of 1999 when life was different and this film clip has hit us in all the feels. We'll be dusting off our DVD of 'The Titanic' this weekend for sure!
