Almost 32 years after the first Crocodile Dundee film hit cinemas, a fourth instalment is on the way and literally, no one knew about it!
The new film is called Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home and will revolve around Mick Dundee's son Mikey, who is played by comedic actor Danny McBride.
How no one knew about this film is beyond us, but clearly, Danny and the rest of the team behind the film did a great job of keeping it under wraps!
The first trailer dropped earlier today and in an interview with People, Danny explained that joining such an iconic franchise is a bit daunting.
"I’m not going to lie to you, to be a real Crocodile Dundee, I think 95% of it is the vest and then 5% is just being able to not fall down and stay on your feet."
Paul Hogan, who played Mick Dundee in the original films, is reprising his iconic role and also spoke to People, telling them that he's been wanting to revive his character for quite a while.
"Crocodile Dundee is a film that has stood the test of time.
"It was a defining moment in my life and one of my proudest accomplishments.
"Throughout the past few years, I’ve been thinking about how to bring Dundee to a new generation.
"I’m excited to introduce the new Crocodile Dundee to the world and look forward to sharing more news about those involved very soon."
The film is going to be released in the American summer, which means we can expect it to hit Aussie cinemas between June and August this year.
