Fans of the popular Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise are feeling like they’ve been torn apart today.
Marvel and Disney have put production on the third film on hold, meaning we won’t be getting our next GOTG fix anytime soon.
Obviously, we demand a dance off to reconcile this.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that a small crew had been brought together to begin pre-production on the film, before principal photography started in January/February 2019.
Now, it’s all on hold while the companies decide upon the future of the beloved series after giving director James Gunn the flick.
James was fired from the top job back in July, due to controversy surrounding some old Tweets of his.
While many have tried to get them to re-hire James, that possibility has been ruled out by Disney.
A popular choice to replace him is Taika Waititi (director of Thor: Ragnarok).
James has since apologised for his past comments, expressing his regret.
Is the future of one of our fave films at stake?!
Why must people suck the joy out of everything…?
