Well, Uber Eats has partnered up with food scientist Jozef Youssef to reveal the top 10 foods that are scientifically proven to be great for both your body and mind, so take note and get on your way to the healthiest you!
- Sweet Potato
- Red meat
- Kimchi (or sauerkraut)
These are serotonin-producing foods that you should definitely be incorporating into your daily diet for that extra bit of happiness.
Jozef has also explained how different things like texture and colour are able to improve out moods:
- "Crunchy and chewy foods, along with antioxidant-rich foods such as avocado, mango, blueberries and figs are proven to prevent and relieve stress
- Green foods like vegetables calm us down while we associate yellow foods like bananas with happiness
- Nutrient-rich foods like fish helps us get through a busy day at work
- Chemicals in foods like chicken, red meat, chocolate and peanuts are proven to make us happier."
