In what has to be a truly touching story to kick off your week, an IKEA store in Italy has opened its doors to give stray dogs a place to sleep on cold winter days and nights.
While most IKEA stores have a ‘no dogs policy’, this heartwarming idea has captured the hearts of many people around the globe.
The shop, located in Catania, Italy, is home to strays who can rest on the rugs and furnishings, which isn’t only great for the doggos, but it’s also a delight for dog-loving customers doing some browsing.
If this happened in Australia, I’d be stuck in the store for hours.
The uncommon decision of the store has lead to many praising their efforts to help animals in need, with staff also feeding them to keep them in tip top shape!
Not only this, but some customers have even adopted some of the strays!
We LOVE this idea! Do you?
