Hang onto to your socks fam! Aldi, AKA OUR HEAVEN, has just announced its biggest change to their Australian stores since it launched in 2001.
The logo as we know it… is going.
This will be the first time in 20-years that the German discount supermarket has made any changes to its iconic branding… so this definitely would’ve been a big decision.
Why you ask? Well, former Aldi executive Paul Foley said,"The Aldi brand and its vision, mission and values gets updated every seven years in line with the changes in society habits, health knowledge and opportunity.
"Every 21 years [3 x 7 years] the logo is looked at to reflect those evolutions..."This logo change reflects the tech, modernity and cool that has been introduced to the Aldi brand in recent years."
Well, there you go.
The new logo has already been rolled out on the new AldiChinese website. See above on the right.
The company has plans to roll the logo out across all stores by the end of the year.
