Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger's Chocoholic Healthy Snacks!

Diamonds are so yesterday. In this fast-paced world, chocolate is a girl’s best friend, right?!

While we’re still practicing our Pussycat Dolls dance moves, it’s no secret Nicole Scherzinger has a sweet tooth (and so do we!), so here are some alternate snack ideas to get you through from Scoopla's resident BUF Girl Cassey Maynard!

Try these three healthy choc snacks to give your day a guilt-free and very yummy boost. The only problem is which one to try first…;)

Recipe #1: Coconut Rough 

Combine these on a small plate: 

1 tablespoon melted coconut oil  

1 tablespoon almond butter  

1 teaspoon raw cacao 

1 small handful desiccated coconut (to taste) 

A few drops of stevia (to taste)

Now do this: 

1. Pop in the freezer for 5-10 minutes 

2. Crack with a spoon and share with someone you love! 


Recipe #2: Choc Banana Pancakes 

Combine these in a bowl: 

2 eggs 

1 sugar banana  

1 heaped teaspoon raw cacao 

1 heaped teaspoon cacao nibs 

1 tablespoon almond meal OR rolled oats 

1 big pinch of cinnamon 

Now do this: 

1. Put it all in a blender and whiz it up 

2. Pour into a lightly greased pan on moderate heat  

3. Cook like a pancake! 

4. Serve with fresh berries and a dash of cream or coconut yoghurt ;) 


Recipe #3: The 3pm Craving Killer 

First do this: 

Buy a low-ish sugar chocolate (we love Green & Blacks 85%, Lindt 85-90% or Pana raw chocolate), remove two squares and roughly break them into small pieces. 

Toss the chocolate bits into a small Tupperware container with a handful of fresh blueberries, some raw or activated almonds and maybe even a handful of shredded coconut 

Now do this: 

1. Eat it! This is the perfect 3pm craving killer and gives your brain a nice little focus boost for the afternoon
