Married At First Sight participant Jessika Power is reportedly set to be returning to Australian TV screens, this time appearing in the upcoming second season of Love Island Australia.
New Idea has today reported that Jess has been confirmed as a cast member on the new season.
"It's true, Jess has been poached by producers. They think she's the perfect fit for the show,” an ‘insider’ told the publication.
“She's never far from drama and has no problems partner swapping – not to mention she is ratings gold!
"They're still in the middle of casting and need to see how it will work with the other applicants. But the plan is to introduce Jess as an intruder halfway through to spice things up."
Also extending her 15 minutes of fame to a whopping 16 minutes is Jess’ MAFS bestie Ines Basic. According to the magazine, the same ‘source’ claims the pair are in negotiations to include Ines: “They're a two-for-one deal these days. It doesn't feel like work when they are doing it together.”
While the controversial MAFS stars are yet to comment on the news, Jessika participated in an Insta Story Q&A last night (it’s still there at the time of writing if you want to check it out) where she was asked if she would go on the show.
“100% depending on where I was in my life and when the offer came up, I would do this show. But right now, we’ll just wait and see,” she said.
Trash TV lovers might be a bit confused right now. Literally last week, jess confirmed she was dating former MAFS star Nick Furphy.
But in her Insta Story, Jess made comments suggesting she would call it off for the show.
“Right now I am happy with my relationship and love life, but this is definitely not an offer I would turn down.”
