Your Childhood Dream Of Singing With A Play School Presenter Is About To Come True

For generations Play School has entertained Aussie households for 30 minutes at a time. 

We've all yelled at the telly choosing the window for the day, and it was RARELY be the arch window- what was that about?! 

Anyhoo...everyone has childhood memories of the show and a favourite presenter too! 

Now one of them is heading to Townsville this weekend and we're low key so excited to see her.  

Drum roll please....

Play School presenter Justine Clarke is the headline act for Townsville City Council's 2018 Carols by Candlelight! 

Just last week Justine took home the 2018 ARIA award for Best Children's Album, and now she'll be sharing the stage with Santa in Townsville. 

The 47-year-old will perform at Riverway Stadium this Sunday evening, where Council will transform the venue into a tropical treat for Townsville families. 

Let's hope that she has packed Big Ted and Little Ted in her luggage for the fun as well! 

Also entertaining you at Carols by Candlelight will be solo artists, duos, Townsville Choral Society Choir, the always awesome 1RAR band, and many more. 

Don't go nuts hunting for a car park though,free parking will be available at 1300SMILES Stadium with a Park’N’Ride travelling to Riverway every 15 minutes to help manage traffic into the area.

The free festive fun starts at 5pm this Sunday, wrapping up around 9pm.
