A man will face Wyong Local court tomorrow, after allegedly attempting to kill another man – whom he knows - at a hotel on the Pacific Highway.

The incident allegedly took place before 5:30 yesterday morning, when authorities got the call out to the hotel, finding a 53 year old man with stab wounds, cuts and bruises to his head.

Tuggerah Lakes police arrested a 41 year old man nearby, charging him with with cause grievous bodily harm/GBH to a person with intent to murder.

The injured man was released from hospital earlier today.

It was a busy day for police in Wyong: At 7:30am, a 60 year old man was allegedly assaulted while sleeping in his car, which was parked in a clubhouse’s carpark on Lake Haven way.

Police are urging witnesses to that incident to come forward.
