A man has been injured after a workplace explosion at Ashmore.
Paramedics and fire crews were called to Olney Court around 2:20pm on Thursday with reports a piece of high pressure equipment had exploded.
The man in his 60s was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with facial and chest injuries, and was in a serious but stable condition.
