A woman's been charged after allegedly stabbing a man with a pair of scissors in Southport yesterday afternoon.
Police will allege the 40-year-old woman grabbed the sharp instrument from a kitchen drawer during an argument with a man at a Smith Street residence around 2.50pm, slicing him on the cheek before chasing him down the street.
A 46-year-old man sustained a deep wound and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
The woman was eventually arrested on Dowling Drive, before being charged with wounding and going armed to cause fear.
She is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
