A 19-year-old woman accused of the armed robbery of a Harristown Chemist will remain behind bars for two months.

The woman faced the Toowoomba Magistrates Court yesterday after she was arrested for the alleged armed robbery.

A female employee sustained minor injuries when she hit by the offender with a star picket.

The Chronicle reports that the young woman will remain in jail until April as it will take the police around eight weeks to compile evidence.
