It was the heartbreaking vision from the Freo change rooms that did the rounds last week on socials, but Freo coach Justin Longmuir told Pete, Matt and Kymba that he's glad the world got to see Pearce's tears.

"It's good for the public to see what these players have to go through. People think it's all beer and skittles and it's not, "Poor Alex has been injured for two years now, comes back, plays his first game and suffers another injury, that's really, really tough, "I was actually glad that the public got to see that side of things."
