Where To Make Your Doughnut Dreams Come True This National Doughnut Day!

National Doughnut Day is arguably my favorite day on the calendar, closely followed by all 30 days in November #birthdaymonth! Although, in all seriousness,  there is no sweet treat I love more than a doughnut and I’ve tried too many to count over the years! So, I guess it’s only fair I share the knowledge on where to find the best doughnuts on the Gold Coast ahead of National Doughnut Day on Friday June 7^th.

Doughnut Time - James Street, Burleigh

Doughnut Time serves up the most EXTRA doughnuts you’ll ever see! They’ve got doughnuts filled with Nutella, Doughnuts covered in M&M’s, Red velvet flavored doughnuts and SO much more. My fave would have to be the ‘Life on Mars’, which is a fluffy doughnut covered in a milk chocolate glaze and topped with chocolate flakes and chunks of mars bar! You’ll want to buy one of everything, but trust me, one is enough from Doughnut Time, their serving size is very generous!

Donut King

You seriously cannot go past a Hot Cinnamon Donut from Donut King. Still the absolute best Doughnuts going around in my books, and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Find a Donut King store at Robina Town Centre, Pacific Fair, Stockland Burleigh or Westfield Helensvale.

Paddock Bakery

You won’t find a cuter little doughnut than the Nutella bots from Paddock Bakery in Miami. They’re a bite sized semi-sourdough doughnut, packed to the brim with Nutella and sprinkled with crackling chocolate bits on top. Paddock has also just started baking Vegan Doughnuts, which are just as delicious as their original doughnuts!

D Point Ten

Located in Southport, D Point Ten Donuts serves up some of the most photogenic, and delicious Doughnuts on the Gold Coast. They’ve got a delectable selection of the round deserts on offer, including glazed doughnuts and cinnamon doughnuts plus their epic filled variety of doughnuts, which come packed to the brim with either custard, jam, Nutella or any other crazy creation they come up with!

Gluten Free Donuts

If you’re a cinnamon doughnut lover like me (or have a gluten intolerance), I can’t recommend these Gluten Free Donuts enough! Look for the green tent around the coast at local markets, they're often at Miami Marketta on Friday & Saturday nights.  Track them down this weekend to get your warm, crispy, cinnamon covered doughnut fix!

Krispy Kreme

Gone are the days you had to travel interstate and bring back a 12 pack of original glazed Krispy Kreme’s (although they were some of my very best memories). Tomorrow, you can head into any Krispy Kreme store in Australia and score yourself 1 free Doughnut! On the coast you’ll find Krispy Kreme at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
