South Burnett Regional Council will be carrying out road works in the following areas:

Bitumen Resealing Works
Bitumen resealing works will start Monday March 11.

Reseals for the 2018/2019 financial year are planned for various streets in the towns of Kingaroy, Kumbia, Nanango, Wondai, Murgon and Proston and some nearby roads in the vicinity of the above towns.

South Burnett Regional Council advise that for property owners there may be some restriction to property access for short periods, however residents will be notified in advance by a letter box drop a day or two prior to resealing your street.

A list of streets and roads under this year’s resealing program is available on Council’s website.

Bridge Closure - Stonelands Road, Stonelands
Council advises that due to the ongoing deterioration of the bridge on Stonelands Road, the bridge will be closed from Friday 1 March 2019 until further notice.

All traffic will now be required to access the existing side-track being used by heavy vehicles. Signage will be in place to direct motorists.

Council has programmed the bridge replacement to commence in late May 2019, weather permitting.
