This decade has seen a wonderful wave of feminism take over with both woman and men taking a stand against sexist comments, acts and double-standards.
The latest experiment carried out in an attempt to bring focus to the issue comes from SBS Australia, who counted how many times a woman was cat called whilst standing on the West Coast Drive in comparison to a man.
