Discrimination is alive and well
South Burnett business owners are being encouraged to be more welcoming toward guide dog handlers.
The call out comes after a damning new survey of Aussie Guide Dog Owners, finding that far too many are being discriminated against – because of their dog.
One in two handlers say that they have been refused a service or entry to a public place with cafes and restaurants the worst offenders.
