Wattle Range Council are inviting community groups and sporting clubs from across the region to apply for funding in round two of Council’s 2018/19 Financial Assistance Grants program.

Applications for second round funding in Council’s grants program opened on Wednesday, December 12 and will be accepted until 18 January 2019.

Funding of over $26,000 was awarded to fifteen separate organisations when the previous Council considered round one applications at its September meeting.

Wattle Range Council Mayor Des Noll urged local groups to consider making application in this round, with funding up to $2,000 available to eligible groups.

“Council’s annual grants program provides much needed support to our local community and sporting groups,” Mayor Noll said. “The funds enable these volunteer organisations to maintain and upgrade their equipment and facilities or host events that benefit our region.”

These groups play a vital role in strengthening our community, making Wattle Range a great place to live,” he added.

Application guidelines and forms are available on Council’s website at www.wattlerange.sa.gov.au/council-fags and enquiries can be made by phone on 8733 0900 or email to [email protected].
