Wanted Man 'Armed And Dangerous' In Newcastle
He's driving a black BMW
A man who stabbed three people at a gym on Sydney's northern beaches last night fled to Newcastle where he's robbed two local service stations.
Police say he made off in a stolen black BMW following the stabbing attack at Brookvale at around 8:00pm.
He drove to Shortland where he held up the Metro servo at knife point at 9:45pm.
A short time later he robbed the Mobil at Sandgate, before leading police on a short pursuit through Mayfield.
He remains on the run and police say he's armed and dangerous.
The BMW's registration plates are DKK-39Q.
He's described as being Caucasian, about 168cm tall, he has a full beard and aged in his mid to late 20's.
At the time of the robberies he was wearing black shorts and a light coloured T-shirt.
