The threat to lives and homes from a bushfire in northern Western Australia continues with unpredictable conditions continuing.
A Watch and Act warning has been issued for residents of eastern Kununurra bounded by Lily Creek Lagoon, Weaber Plain Road, Ironwood Drive and the M1 Channel to the west, Mulligans Lagoon Road to the north and Stockman Road to the southeast, and including Lakeside Park Estate, emergency services say.
Those not prepared or planning to leave have been warned to leave now if the way is clear, while those who plan to defend their homes should make final preparations, with conditions described as "very dangerous".
