Violent Home Invasion At Wallsend
Victim suffered knife-wounds
A man's in John Hunter Hospital nursing knife wounds after a violent home invasion at Wallsend.
The 27 year old confronted an unknown man who entered his house in Close Street at 8:45pm on Sunday night, armed with a knife.
The pair got into a fight, with the resident suffering a large cut to his shoulder.
The offender took off on foot.
He's described as being aged in his 20's, 185 centimetres tall with a solid build.
