Once upon a time, '80s and '90s kids ran wild at the largest theme park in the Southern Hemisphere: Wonderland Sydney.

That was, until 2004 when the park closed and broke hearts across the country.

It’s not uncommon now to get into a nostalgic conversation with friends about the park, wondering just what happened to the amusements and ask if it could ever return.

Well, one aspiring filmmaker by the name of Phil Van Gerwen decided to head over to the park back in 2017 to film what the site looked like all these years later, grabbing the attention of people across the country.

Now, Phil has returned for a more in-depth look at what is left of Wonderland in his series Abandoned Oz, complete with drone shots.
