Millicent Police are seeking information from the local community after a truck was stolen overnight from a local business.
Just after 5am this morning (Monday 26 November) police received a report of a truck being stolen from a business on Davenport Street.
The stolen truck was spotted being driven north on Williams Road by witnesses. Approximately one hour later members of the public located the abandoned truck on Lossie Road.
The victim advised a load of timber decking was loaded onto the truck prior to it being stolen. Acting on information received, police attended a house on Burdon Street and recovered the stolen timber.
Investigations are continuing to locate the suspect.
