A man and two teenagers have been arrested after a stolen vehicle from Brisbane was found in Toowoomba on Friday night.

PolAir was deployed to track the Volkswagen Golf which was travelling high speeds to Toowoomba after it was allegedly stolen from a Mitchelton address last Wednesday.

The trio then went on a spree, allegedly purchasing food from a Highfields McDonald's with a stolen credit card before committing a fuel-drive off in Oakey.

Police say the car, with stolen number plates, was then spotted in traffic but was unable to be intercepted before again being spotted in the Wilsonton Shopping Centre car park.

A 31-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were all charged with a range of offences including stealing, burglary and unlawful use of a vehicle.

The man appeared in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court at the weekend.

The trio face 24 charges.
