Members of the public are questioning what local teachers are doing with their time away from the classroom as they begin holidays...again.

As the Easter school holidays commence, many believe that surely the educators would have run out of ways to entertain themselves.

When speaking with Hit 103.1 one North Ward resident said that she has spotted many teachers enjoying mid morning cups of chai on The Strand.

"There were about 5 of them all together in active wear. They didn't seem to have much planned for the day," said the anonymous woman.

Upon further investigation we discovered the group had all posted the experience to Instagram with the caption... "How good are holidays? #catchups #teacherlife #hopeidontseeanystudents"

After DM-ing the group no response was given, they're probably having their 3rd nap of the day.

Following the lack of reply, our research into 'What Do Teachers Actually Do With Their Holidays'  took another approach.

Hit 103.1 Afternoon's Announcer Carley contacted her Teacher Husband on air, in an attempt to catch him in the act, of doing nothing.

Was she successful? Find out now.
