The Toowoomba Hospital is coming under more pressure over the “underdosing” controversy.

The Courier Mail has revealed that they were aware of the situation a month before Health Minister Cameron Dick was briefed.

The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Chief Executive Peter Gillies says a lung cancer researcher alerted the hospitals regional Cancer Centre on April 27 while it was only brought to the attention of the Health Minister on May 26.

Patients and their families only found out about it this week.
