A study has shown that December 11 is the single most common day for people to break up, being deemed "Dumping Day". Several statisticians studied social media break up dates to come to the conclusion.

 There's a heap of different reasons that contribute to break ups at this time of the year, with the main one being not wanting to spent the holiday season with the wrong person.
