From dinosaurs to the woolly mammoth, thousands of species have gone extinct over the course of time, and in many cases, we're the ones to blame. 

But is it possible that one Aussie icon was incorrectly declared extinct? 

The last known Thylacine (or Tasmanian Tiger) died in captivity at Hobart Zoo in 1936, before the species was officially declared extinct in 1986.

However, since 1936, over 3,800 sightings of the tiger have been recorded on the mainland alone. Two of which were Tim. One of which was an Adelaide Hills woman who supposedly spotted one near her garbage bin.

Jess is skeptical that the tigers are still roaming the country, despite Tim's enthusiastic efforts to convince her otherwise.
