Three Men On The Run Following Shooting In Melbourne's Southeast

Three men are on the run after shooting a man in the leg during a targeted attack in Melbourne's southeast.
The trio forced their way into the Cornish Road home in Emerald about 4.30am on Monday, before one Caucasian man shot the 53-year-old victim in the leg.
The offenders fled to a waiting vehicle.
"The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, however it appears to be a targeted incident," police said in a statement.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and two other people inside the home at the time were not physically injured.
