In the spirit of celebrating positive stories in the community, Jimmy & Nath caught up with Nicole Miles, who is doing something INCREDIBLE this weekend.

The registered nurse was intending on running the Ross Marathon, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak - however, has decided to get a little bit creative.

This Sunday, Nicole will be running an ENTIRE MARATHON in her backyard!

One lap of her backyard is approximately 50 metres, so Nicole will be completing 840 laps to make up a full 42 kilometres.

All of the money raised will be donated directly to Foodbank Tasmania, which provides food relief programs such as community pantries and dining halls, mobile soup vans, emergency hampers and breakfast or lunch programs in schools. With the growing pandemic in Australia, emergency relief services like Foodbank will be more important than ever.
