A rare $400,000 Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) has been stolen from a Sydney marina. 

The Ribco Seafarer 36 was stolen from the Rose Bay Marina under the cloak of darkness on May ninth. 

CCTV footage reveals two men untied the 11 metre-vessel and towed it to a nearby boat ramp where they loaded it onto a trailer attached to a white Volkswagen Amarok around 9pm. 

The vehicle was last seen travelling north on New South Head Road, Rose Bay.

Danger rising on the Sydney waters:  

The 36-foot long RHIB, belonging to a charter company, has a black hull, white interiors, and registration AIS241N. 

Police appealing for anyone with information to contact the Marine Area Command on (02) 9320 7499 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
