Last night, Diana Rouvas took home of title of The Voice Australia champion, but although the extremely talented 35-year-old was a fan-favourite to win, the result didn’t come without controversy.

Fans were left angry and confused after a technical glitch meant voting crashed mid-way through the show’s finale.

"Hundreds of thousands of votes have been coming through during tonight’s show which has caused some technical problems for a small number of viewers, however votes are continuing to flow through," Channel Nine said in a statement during the show.

"The technical problem has now been solved. We appreciate everybody’s support for the artists and the show."

Naturally, people weren't too happy with the mishap.
