There's a new Netflix show captivating viewers this month, and it's Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey. 

The show follows the true story 17-year-old Lisa McVey, who experienced a horrifying kidnapping and narrow escape in 1984 by serial killer, Bobby Joe Long. However, she struggles to convince family and authorities of her ordeal. 

One of the most disturbing things is that it's based on a true story, and the teen was raped and traumatised by the serial killer over the course of 26 hours.
